It’s been super busy since the last time we went up to Washington – the boys are knee deep in school, we survived another baseball season (even though it was just fall ball), and I’ve somehow managed to still stay employed at my current job. But with the holidays coming up, that means vacation time! So we’ll be spending 5 days up in Washington (well, our go to hotel in Portland anyways) after Christmas and back home on New Years! So now we get to line up some actual contractors to look at the land (and hopefully house plans) while we’re there!
I “think” we agreed…
It might have happened. Or maybe I just whined too much. But I think we settled on a house plan! At least I sent this to one of the builders we’re going to look at.

At just under 3,000 square feet, this house has everything we could ever need including a good sized guest suite downstairs, master and kids rooms upstairs, mud room, screened in porch and even a huge bonus room over the garage for everything else!

So now that we kind of know what we want, let’s go see how much it’s going to cost!!! I really have a feeling that we’re going to get a deep reality check, but in the meantime, I’m happy in my fantasy world.
